“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And beyond I am with you always to the end of the age.” ~ Matthew 28:19-20

The desire of Bethany Church is to obey the command of Jesus to make disciples, who make disciples, around the world. This begins in our Jerusalem, where we live. It spreads to our Judea, where we work and play. It moves to our Samaria, where we resist going, and it comes full circle as we reach the uttermost parts of the earth. This is the defining mission of our church.

In our obedience to Jesus Christ, we desire to train our members to think and live incarnationally, to pray and prepare to share the gospel wherever they go, and to support all those who serve.

We believe that we are all called to be missionaries, because we’ve been given the same mission: make disciples. It is our desire to grow in that long obedience as we reach our world for Jesus.
