God's Will for Us - Dave Bury

Some of the most important questions you could ever ask are, “What is the purpose of it all? Why are we here? Why did God create us?” You might think that the Bible addresses these questions, and it does, many times.  But somehow we miss the obvious. 

God teaches us His purpose all through Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation: it is about relationship–specifically, the relationship that is revealed to us in the Godhead: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  It is one of pure, uncorrupted love.  Since we are created in the Image of God this love relationship is in us. But since we are fallen, this love is also marred. God’s Word calls us to return back to our first love: the love of God and through it the love of others.  We can do this through God’s grace that can be found by reading and living out His Word.
