Here’s the bottom line: our teens need adults in the church that are willing to connect with them! That can take many forms such as prayer, relationship, mentoring, and serving. On Sunday mornings at 11am 6th-12th graders gather together to connect to God through the study and discussion of His Word in community. Our goal is provide a platform where students can further process what was taught in our 9:30am worship service and how God’s living Word applies to their lives now. If you desire to connect/get involved with the youth ministry at Bethany do not hesitate to ask how!
On Wednesday evenings we have The Mix that consists of dinner, games, and fellowship for all ages from 6-7pm. Our goal is to allow Junior and Senior high students to feel welcomed and accepted as they learn to grow as disciples of Jesus together in community. We meet in the Ministry Center dining room for The Mix from 6-7pm and then move to the youth rooms in the subfloor of the sanctuary from 7-8pm. Junior high and high school students break into their small groups for deeper growth, processing, trust, and accountability with each other and their adult leaders. Students are invited to join, grow, celebrate, journey together, and learn what it means to live as committed followers of Jesus who know and love God and desire to make Him known right where they find themselves.
Part of the reason why we are called Hilltop is because we are committed to being cities on a hill: lights to the world, letting our lights shine before others, that they may see our good deeds and glorify our Father in heaven (Matt. 5:14-16). Followers of Jesus are called to live life differently—the way that Jesus would if He were in our shoes. If you know of any needs or service projects that we can be a part of let us know!
